The MikroTik RBcAPL-2nD (cAP lite) is a compact 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi 4 access point designed for indoor use in environments such as hotels, offices, and retail spaces. This dual-chain device is equipped with a 650 MHz QCA9533 CPU, 64 MB of RAM, and 16 MB of flash memory, operating on RouterOS v7 with a Level 4 licence. It adheres to the 802.11b/g/n wireless standards, providing a maximum throughput of 300 Mbps with an antenna gain of 1.5 dBi. Connectivity is facilitated through a single 10/100 Mbps Ethernet port, and it offers flexible powering options, including 10–60 V passive PoE or 5 V microUSB. The device has a maximum power consumption of 4 W and operates within a temperature range of –40 °C to +70 °C. Its dimensions are 88 × 52 × 20 mm, suitable for wall mounting or installation in an 88 mm diameter ceiling mount case. The cAP lite can be efficiently managed through MikroTik’s CAPsMAN system, enabling centralised administration of Wi-Fi networks, making it a practical choice for scalable wireless deployments.
