The Solarix Rail Mount 1 Pole Solar Photovoltaic (PV) DC Fuse Holder With LED Indicator Light is specifically designed to provide fast-acting protection under overload current conditions associated with Photovoltaic (PV) systems. . The recommended fuse link size is 10x38mm, which can safely protect 1000VDC Photovoltaic (PV) systems in the event of a circuit overload within the application. This DIN Rail Mount Fuse Holder is made from flame-retardant material according to the IEC 60269-2 VO standard, and the dead-front design makes it possible to match the Busbar mounting in the Photovoltaic (PV) system. Technical Advice to Installers.
According To Solar Industry Standards For Protection, Two Fuses Are Required, One For Positive And One For The Negative Pole.
• To calculate the fuse rating multiply the Amps of the PV string by x1.2.
• Example PV String Amps 11.5A x 1.2 = 13.8 Amps. Nearest fuse 15A
