The TP-Link TL-SM331T is a Class C++ GPON OLT SFP optical transceiver module designed for use in Optical Line Terminals (OLTs) within a Gigabit Passive Optical Network. It establishes a high-speed, long-distance PON connection from the OLT to multiple Optical Network Units (ONUs). This SFP module operates with a downstream data rate of 2.5 Gbps and an upstream data rate of 1.25 Gbps over a single-mode fibre optic cable. The Class C++ optics provide a high power budget, making it suitable for deployments requiring extended reach and a higher subscriber split ratio.
It is equipped with a standard SC/UPC connector for direct connection to fibre optic cabling and is hot-pluggable for installation without service interruption. The module supports Digital Diagnostic Monitoring (DDM) for real-time tracking of operational parameters.
