The Ubiquiti airFiber AF-5XHD-U is a high-performance 5 GHz point-to-point (PtP) radio built for outdoor wireless backhaul applications. Operating in the 4.8–6.2 GHz band, it delivers real-world throughput exceeding 1 Gbps and supports link distances over 100 km. Powered by Ubiquiti’s LTU technology, it features adaptive modulation up to 1024QAM, programmable channel bandwidths from 10 to 100 MHz, and GPS synchronisation for improved spectral efficiency and reduced interference. It includes dual Gigabit Ethernet ports, Bluetooth v4.0 for wireless configuration, and an external GPS antenna with a magnetic base. The IP67-rated enclosure ensures reliable performance in harsh outdoor conditions, with an operating temperature range of -40°C to 55°C. Its compact design is compatible with airFiber X and Rocket mounts, offering flexible installation options for WISPs and enterprise networks needing long-range, high-capacity links.
