The MikroTik CRS354-48P-4S+2Q+RM is a 1U rackmount Layer 3 switch designed for enterprise networks and data centres. It features 48 Gigabit Ethernet ports with PoE+ support (802.3af/at and passive PoE), delivering up to 26W per port and a total power budget of 750W. Four 10G SFP+ ports and two 40G QSFP+ ports provide high-speed fibre uplinks for aggregation and backbone connectivity. The integrated Marvell Prestera switch chip manages all Gigabit ports, ensuring reliable hardware-based switching performance.
The switch includes dual hot-swappable power supplies and dual boot options, supporting both RouterOS (Level 5 license) and SwOS for flexible switching or routing configurations. Advanced features such as VLANs, QoS, ACLs, and Layer 3 routing make it suitable as a core or distribution switch in large networks, simplifying infrastructure and reducing power cabling requirements. PoE capabilities support powering access points, IP cameras, and VoIP phones.
