Grandstream IP Video Encoder/Decoder

The Grandstream GXV3500 is a standalone IP video encoder and decoder designed for surveillance and video conferencing. It accepts analog video inputs from cameras or VCRs and converts them into digital streams for transmission over IP networks. The device supports H.264 and MJPEG compression standards, enabling efficient bandwidth usage. It features an RJ45 Ethernet port for network connectivity and an RS-232 interface for control. Users can configure the unit via a web-based interface to set up streaming parameters, motion detection, and access control. This hardware facilitates the integration of legacy analog video sources into modern IP-based video management systems without requiring a PC.
